Ania Gastol, a professional make-up artist, was born in 1977 in Krakow, Poland. She lived in Chicago for over five years, where she undertook courses in various aspects of art, such as painting and drawing, interior and graphic designing, stylization and make-up.

Ania has now moved back to Europe and is currently located in London. She offers a friendly and professional make-up service. Her work interests include artistic, glamour and fashion make-up, film and television
make-up, and make-up for special occasions, such as weddings. She knows that the relationship between
make-up artist and client can be as important as the make-up itself - it's all about how the make-up makes you feel yourself, as well as its visual effect on friends, audiences or cameras.

For the last few years she has been working with independent artists, fashion and photographic models,
and film, theatre and television actors. Work with the latter includes both make-up for portfolios as well as
for a growing number of productions, and is an area into which she is particularly interested in expanding.

" Whether we like it or not, we all look in the mirror, and we are all consciously or unconsciously creative in developing a 'look' that we hope others will accept as an outward representation of our inner selves. The inner and outer are intimately connected, and by modifying the outer, whether with subtlety or extravagance, we can find a different path to the underlying personality, which may also be rewarding to the imagination and the eye."
